Feem

There are two things you can do with Feem. The first thing you can do is chat with other Feem users who are connected to your local network. And the second thing you can do is transfer files to other Feem users. With this user friendly application you can send files and you can receive files from people on your network.

Feem is available for multiple platforms: Windows, OS X, Linux, iOS, and Android. No matter what platform you’re on, you will not have any problems getting Feem up and running. It is, in all fairness, an effortless task.

Figuring out the interface is an effortless task as well. The panel on the left hand side list the following buttons:
Peers – view a list of Feem users who are connected to your network.
Transfer – add files or folders and then send them to other Feem users.
Downloads – view a list of files sent to you by other Feem users.
Uploads – the files that you’re sending to other Feem users are displayed here.
Settings – select a profile name, pick a profile image, change the downloads folder, and play with a few other settings.

As mentioned above, you can use Feem to perform two tasks: communicate with other Feem users (send and receive instant messages in real time) and share files with other Feem users (you can send files from your device to another user’s device and you can receive files from another user).

The free version of Feem is limited to 500 file transfers. To get unlimited file transfers you will have to register your version.

Thanks to Feem you can IM with other users on the network and you can send and receive files.
